How do my employees see their pay statements?
DailyPay is more than a way to access earnings before payday - it is also a tool for employees to track their pay. Employees enrolled in DailyPay can use the app to see their pay history, including reported shifts for the current pay period and a statement for prior pay periods.
The shifts tab in the DailyPay app
To view reported shifts, an employee must tap the Pre-tax earnings card on the home screen of the DailyPay app. Then, they will have:
- Visibility into each shift included in the DailyPay Balance
- Visibility, with an explanation, of each shift excluded from the DailyPay Balance due to employer policies
- Visibility into the status of each shift: “Reported,” which indicates a shift exclusion, or “Available”
To view a statement for a past pay period, an employee must tap the “Pay” tap in the employee app. Then, they can tap a specific pay period to see a summary of:
- Earnings
- Employer withholdings
- Net pay
- Transfers, and fees
Calculate Final Pay
In the case that an employee has been marked as terminated before an admin reports the final pay method, DailyPay Portal admins can still visit the employee’s account details to select final pay details.
1) Search and select the employee from the User’s list.
2) Click the “Calculate Final Pay” button on the bottom right hand corner of the Account Details page
3) Select the final payment method. Follow the instructions listed under #4 above.
